Since it opened at the Mandalay Bay in May 2009, the Las Vegas production of The Lion King never failed to keep audiences in a happy and free-spirited mood and has always managed to be one of the top selling shows in Sin City.

To this day, the musical version of the popular Disney animated movie about a lion and his journey from a playful cub to his fight against his very own uncle to retrieve his rightful position in the animal kingdom continues to run at the Mandalay Bay all throughout the week except for Fridays. The show plays at 7:30 PM on weekdays and at 4 PM and 8 PM on weekends.

The Las Vegas cast of The Lion King includes Jelani Remy as Simba, Kissy Simmons as Nala, Adam Kozlowski as Pumbaa, Damian Baldet as Timon, Thom Sesma as Scar, Derrick Williams as Mufasa, Buyi Zama as Rafiki and Jeffrey Binder as Zazu.
